Brackenfield Village Association are delighted that their application for a grant of £386 towards the Life Support/Defibrillator Training on 28th April has been successful. This means that, with the donation of £200 from last year's Well Dressing, all costs have been covered for 20 people to take part in this certificated 3-hour course. A recent medical incident, at the Plough Inn, gave rise to fetching the defibrillator from the Church Hall. Fortunately the emergency services arrived in good time, so it was not required and we understand the patient is recovering well.
