Due to the latest Government guidelines on staying at home and avoiding unnecessary travel, the Bulletin will not be delivered until the situation changes.

Suspension of Church Services
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Under guidance from the Church of England, Sunday services in Brackenfield are suspended until further notice.
Ashover Church will be open daily as usual and there will be a presence – someone to chat to, even if from a distance, from 10 am to 11 am every morning for the time being.

Any queries about weddings, funerals and baptisms should be addressed to the Rector.
Should any residents of Brackenfield wish to pray/meditate in Brackenfield church it can be opened up by arrangement. Please contact either Nigel Rogers 01773 836137 or Jane Steeper 01773 836016.
Should anyone in Brackenfield need urgent medical supplies and/or shopping this can be arranged. Please phone either of the above mentioned numbers
Keeping in touch
This is a difficult time for us all. Remember that you can pick up the phone or use email, Facebook or the Brackenfield Neighbourhood Watch WhatsApp Group to keep in touch. Meetings and events postponed
The Heritage Cafe meeting planned for 28th April and the visit to Cascades Garden on 2nd June have now been cancelled. The Village Association AGM has also been postponed and a new date will be published in due course.
The Heritage Cafe meeting scheduled for Tuesday 30th June still stands for the present and it is hoped that the village Picnic and Heritage Trail Launch can go ahead on Sunday 12th July. We will continue to monitor the situation.
Heritage Cafe Meeting postponed
The meeting planned for Tuesday 24th March (with John Taylor on Sutton Scarsdale) has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The talk has been re-scheduled for Tuesday 30th June and everyone is welcome. Contact 07813 397076 for further information.
At present, the meeting planned for 28th April (Mike Kelley on Cromford Canal) is still going ahead but we will continue to monitor the situation and this may also have to be postponed in due course. Watch out for news on the website, village notice board and Facebook.
