We have a new bench on The Green

You will find a new solid beech bench next to the Nature Reserve on Brackenfield Green. Thanks to Bolsover Woodlands Enterprise Ltd for manufacture and installation and to Brackenfield Parish Council for their contribution towards the cost. We hope that residents and visitors alike will enjoy this place to pause, take a breath and enjoy the view.

Due to Lockdown 2 - November Church Services Info

Unfortunatly due to the 2nd National Lockdown there will be no November Church Services in Brackenfield. The next service will be on December 6th.

Monthly Saturday Morning Farmers Market in a Unique Setting - Getting Back to the Roots of a True Farmers Markets

A unique farmers market for unique times. Our new once a month summer Orchard Farmers Market launched in June 2020 to great success. Our next one is 19th September from 9am to 2pm bringing great local producers together in a socially distanced but beautiful setting. The market is in our beautiful orchard on the outskirts of Wessington in the beautiful Amber Valley, a truly rural and perfect setting for a farmers market. Find us close to the towns of Matlock and Alfreton, Just off the A615 on the edge of the beautiful village of Wessington, with free ample on-site parking (must be booked prior).

Italian Night Cancelled due to Covid-19

Dear Friends,

Just to let you know that we have taken the decision to cancel the Italian Night planned for Friday 9th October. It is a pity, but I am
sure you will understand that it is not possible to go ahead with this kind of event at the moment. A few people have already paid for their tickets and we will ensure that your payment is returned as soon as practicable.
